A lot of the pictures you post on here are models and have no idea about being a nerd. Its not a lifestyle choice, or a fashion. Its just doing what you enjoy doing.
I think your pictures give a very wrong and confused message on REAL nerds.

Yes, you’re right (not about the confused message, though - this isn’t one of those “what kind of message does that convey” kinds of things to me). But, aside from contacting each model and asking them to fill out a form in triplicate indicating that yes, they are indeed geeks or nerds, I really can’t do much about it.

I get a few complaints about this post, or that post, but the fact is that I try to post as many different types of pics as I can, because there is always someone out there who appreciates at least a few pics I post. It might surprise you, but I am not a fan of all that I post, although I don’t post anything I truly cannot stand.

So, I find the complaints kind of useless to me, to be honest. I see lots of posts I don’t like or appreciate, and what do I do? I scroll past them. I don’t contact the owner of each and every blog telling them what I didn’t like. I prefer to be grateful for the stuff they post that I do like. For me, Tumblr is about scrolling, and hopefully coming across a pic that takes your breath away, or a post that makes you laugh or think. I don’t expect all posts to do something for me.

What I’d suggest, humbly, is that if you want to see something on fuckyeahgeekgirls, let me know what you want to see! Suggest posts for me, point out geek girls’ websites, or submit something on your own.

I CAN respond to people who tell me what they like, and throw a few posts that I think they’d like their way (and I have been doing that).

I CAN’T respond to people telling me what they don’t like without ending up not posting something someone else would like.

So, this blog isn’t about any one person (or their likes), nor is it about me (or my likes). I simply try to be as inclusive as I can in what I post, and it’ll never be perfect for everyone.
